Nearly half of the work on the Badlapur-Navi Mumbai tunnel road is complete. The project will improve connectivity and reduce travel time between Badlapur (East) and Navi Mumbai. Authorities expect the project to be completed by next year, according to a report by Times Property.
Once the tunnel is complete, travel time between Badlapur and Navi Mumbai will be just 20 minutes. The route will connect Bendsheel village in Badlapur to Rayate in Kalyan Taluka. It will also improve access to Mumbai, Palghar, and Gujarat.
The project is expected to boost Badlapur’s economy. Better connectivity could transform the area into an industrial and logistics hub. More businesses and investments may also flow into the town, which is located in rural Thane. This will help in the area’s regional development.
The Vadodara-JNPT National Highway project is also progressing quickly. The highway is 120 meters wide and 189 kilometres long. It has eight lanes and is nearing completion. The new road will reduce travel time between Vadodara and Mumbai. It will also help improve traffic flow.
Both infrastructure projects are almost finished. As per reports, the transport network will support economic growth, attract industries, and boost real estate.
