According to the Educational Performance Grade Index (PGI) recently released by the Union Education Department, the educational performance of the state seems to have deteriorated. In this regard, a meeting was held on behalf of the education department of Yashwantrao Chavan Center with scholars, representatives of NGOs, representatives of various entities in the education sector. Educational status is viewed at a numerical level. But it is necessary to present the accounting of the educational status at a qualitative level. Educational decisions should be taken in accordance with laws. Undue interference of NGOs should be avoided. Experts in the field of education raised the issue that full-time teachers should be recruited immediately. Sule said Yashwantrao Chavan Foundation will act as a catalyst to bring about change.
