Bollywood Actress Kangana Ranaut slammed Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray saying that he is the worst product of nepotism. She accused the Shiv Sena chief of using his power to “insult” and “humiliate” people who don’t agree with him.
“Raut called me Haramkhor now Uddhav called me namak haram, he is claiming I won’t get food in my state if Mumbai does not give me shelter, shame on you I am your son’s age this is how you speak to a self-made single woman, Chief Minister you are the worse product of nepotism,” Ranaut tweeted.
This comes after CM Thackeray attacked Ranaut while speaking in the annual Dussehra rally on Sunday which was held in an auditorium this year and not Shivaji Park due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"Those who don’t even get proper food in their state, come here, make money and then become namak-haram by comparing Mumbai with POK and defame the state, its leaders and the police department. We grow tulsi in our house, not ganja. Ganja fields are in your state, not in Maharashtra,” Thackeray lashed out at Ranaut without naming her.
Reacting to this, Ranaut said that Thackeray was just a public servant and accused him of dividing the country. She said that the opportunities that Mumbai offer belong to everyone.
“Look at the audacity of a working CM he is dividing the country who has made him Maharashtra ka thekedaar? He is just a public servant there was someone else before him soon he will be out someone else will come to serve the state, why is he behaving like he owns Maharashtra?” she said.
Ranaut further attacked Thackeray saying that she was not drunk on her father’s power and wealth like him.
The Shiv Sena-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government has been in a constant tussle with Ranaut which started amid the chaos over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The tussle intensified after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished a part of her office in Bandra citing illegal structure violations.
