A huge outburst of candidates who contested from ward number - 56 was seen in Goregaon. 14 candidates and various party workers carried out the funeral procession of EVM machine on M.G. road.
Parties have accused the Bharatiya Janta Party of tampering the EVMs and winning the BMC election in Maharashtra. Candidates alleged BJP Corporator Rajul Desai's husband Sameer Desai of violating the code of conduct by distributing money and conducting haldi kumkum programme.
