If you happen to work at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), we’re sure the cab fares might be burning a hole in your wallet. However now, your commute to work will become smoother and cost-effective.

In a recent development, BEST, on Monday, started a new AC bus service from Western Express Highway (WEH) to BKC offering point-to-point connectivity to and fro. The aim of the service is to motivate commuters to take comfortable public transport instead of private vehicles at a reasonable price.

These buses will run on the new route with 40-minutes intervals daily between 8 AM to 5:30 PM, totally making 23 trips in a day. Marked as BEST no. 16, this will connect key junctions like the domestic airport, Vakola Police Station, Kala Nagar and offers pickup-drop at important points like Family Court, RBI, IT Building, ICICI Bank, Diamond Bourse, CitiBank and BKC Telephone Exchange, and others.

Reliance Infra Mumbai Metro 1 is promoting BEST services on a big scale at traditional and social media platforms. As per reports, WEH Metro station receives a footfall of an average 23,500 commuters daily, and this service will prove beneficial for many.
