Even as Mumbaikars thought that they would not have to pay the toll at the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the state government has decided to increase the toll from 1 April.
Commuters who used to pay Rs. 195 for cars, will have to pay Rs. 230. Sceptics are now questioning the MSRDC's rationale in increasing the toll charges eve after the actual expenses incurred for the construction of Expressway have been recovered.
