The commuters will have a tough time traveling today on Sunday as a block has been placed on all the three lines of the city. Hence, a jumbo block has been kept on the Western Line whereas a mega block has been kept for the Central and the Harbour Lines.
Central Railway-
Between 11.20 a.m. and 4.20 pm, the repair work will be done on the slow line between Mulund and Matunga station. Slow trains to Thane from 10.58 am to 04.03 am will be run on the fast track between Mulund and Matunga. All slow trains leaving CST from 10.08 to 02.42 halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations. Trains are expected to be delayed by 20 minutes from their time.
Harbour Railway-
On the Harbor route, all the repair works will be conducted across the CST to Bhati and Bandra stations between 11.40 am and 4.39 am on the up and down routes. During this block, Harbor line between CST and Vashi, Belapur and Panvel will remain closed from 9.52 am to 4.39 pm on the up and down routes. From CST to Andheri-Bandra station on the up and down line between 10.38 hrs to 04.43 a mega block has been kept.
Jumbo block on Western Railway
On the Western Railway route, between Santacruz and Goregaon stations on Sunday, a jumbo block has been kept from 10.30 am to 03.35 am on Sunday. Due to the block, all the fast trains will be running on the slow tracks between Santacruz and Goregaon.
