The Western Railway (WR) on Monday, December 16, announced temporary changes to suburban local train services in Mumbai.
In an official statement, the WR said that for the convenience of passengers, they will be operating the following suburban EMU services from 12-car to 15-car services, with effect from December 16.
- Train no. 90208 FAST at 8:00 am from Bhayandar to Churchgate.
- Train no. 90249 FAST at 9:09 am from Churchgate to Nalasopara.

This decision came after the passengers held protests at Bhayander station and conducted a signature campaign for the last several days as the 8.24 am non-AC Bhayandar local was converted to AC local.
