With larger number of commuters embracing the Mumbai Metro 2A and 7 as their go-to mode of transport, the Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) announced 24 additional services on the route.
This decision to increase services during peak hours has been taken to cater to the growing demand especially during the monsoon season.
It is pertinent to note that the total number of daily services has now reached to 284 with a 7-minute headway. In addition to this, there are 3 metro trains on standby for emergencies.
