The highly anticipated Hindi film - Shershaah is all set to take charge and lead the battalion.
According to sources, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer 'Shershaah' is being pitched as the big release days before Independence Day.
A few days ago, the makers had released a teaser of the film, which is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra.
For the unversed, Vikram Batra laid down his life in the service of the nation while recapturing Indian territories from Pakistani intruders during the Kargil War in 1999. And due to his immense bravery, he was given the title of 'Sher Shah' (Lion King).
Sidharth will be seen essaying the role of Captain Vikram Batra. The actor took to Twitter and unveiled the poster of Shershaah yesterday, on July 22.

The exhilarating trailer of the film will release on July 25.
Jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment, directed by Vishnu Varadhan, the film stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in lead roles. Shershaah will stream on Amazon Prime Video starting August 12, 2021. However, it has come to light that the film was earlier scheduled to release in theatres on July 2.
