Dombivali: Gharda Circle road to remain closed on June 4 for counting of votes

The counting of votes for the Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency will be held on June 4 in the indoor sports hall of Savlaram Maharaj Sports Complex near Gharda Circle. During this period, taking into account the possibility of activists, office bearers and citizens of various parties coming to the main busy roads outside the Sports Complex, all the roads adjacent to the Gharda Circle in front of the Savlaram Maharaj Sports Complex will be closed by the traffic department from 5 am to 8 pm on June 4.

During this period, Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Vinay Kumar Rathod has advised the citizens to use alternative road routes near Gharda Circle. However, Gharda Circle Road will remain open for emergency services ambulances, LPG cylinders, fire engines, police vehicles, and green corridors.

Vehicles coming from Kalyan-Shilphata, Kalyan, Badlapur areas enter Dombivali town via Gharda Circle. The traffic department has decided to close the Gharda circle road for vehicles on the day of counting of votes considering the possibility of traffic congestion in this area due to the running of these vehicles.

Closed roads and alternate routes

• All types of vehicles coming from Dombivli city via Tilak Chowk, Shelar Naka towards Gharda Circle will be closed at Shivam Hospital. These vehicles will take a right turn at Shivam Hospital and proceed to the desired destination via Dombivli Gymkhana, Sagarli.
  
  
• All types of vehicles coming towards Gharda Circle via Suyog Hotel, Regency Anantham, Pendharkar College will be closed till RR Hospital. These vehicles will take a left turn at RR Hospital and proceed to the desired destination from Milap Nagar, Kaveri Chowk.
  
  
• All types of vehicles coming from Khambalpada, 90 feet road, Thakurli road, Panchayat Bawadi, going towards Vico Naka will be closed for traffic near Bandish Palace Hotel. These vehicles will go to the desired destination via Khambalpada, 90 feet road, Tata Naka.
  
  
• All vehicles coming from Azde Gaon, Ajdepada Kaman towards Gharda Circle, going towards Bandish Palace will be closed at Gharda Circle. These vehicles will arrive at Gharda Circle and proceed to Shivam Hospital and from there they will proceed to the desired destination via Dombivli Gymkhana.
  
  
• All types of vehicles coming from Vico Naka to Bandish Palace to the hotel will be closed at Hotel Manish Garden. These vehicles will take a right turn near Manish Garden and proceed to the desired destination.
