The Mumbai traffic police has announced vehicular restrictions for tomorrow, December 5, as the swearing in ceremony of chief minister and deputy chief minister of Maharashtra will take place at Azad Maidan.
The traffic restrictions will be in place from 12 pm until the event concludes, affecting several key routes in the area.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Pradnya Jedge advised the public to plan their travel in advance, as a large crowd is expected. "A large number of people are expected to arrive at Azad Maidan. Please plan your journey accordingly," said DCP (traffic) Pradnya Jedge said in an official statement.
Moreover, since there is no parking facility at Azad Maidan, people are requested to use public transport, especially local trains. Several routes have been declared as no-entry zones during this period.

Alternative route: Motorists can use LT Marg - Chakala Junction - right turn - DN Road- CSMT Junction towards their destination.
Alternative route: A) LT Marg- Chakala Junction- right turn - DN Road- CSMT Junction towards their destination. B) Traffic will be diverted to MK Road to move towards their destination.
Alternative: Motorists can use OCS Junction- Hutatma Chowk- Kalaghoda - K Dubhash Marg- Shahid Bhagat Singh Marg towards their destination.
Alternative route: Motorists can use NS Road.
Additionally, Rambhau Salgaonkar Road (one-way) will be open for two-way traffic from Indu Clinic Junction to Volga Chowk between noon and 8 pm.
Citizens are advised to follow traffic updates and cooperate with the authorities to ensure smooth movement across the city.
