Pahalgam Attack: "These" Mumbai Hospitals To Provide Free Treatment To Victims

As the number of people from Maharashtra stranded in Jammu and Kashmir has risen to over 2000, by Thursday evening, April 24, around 500 tourists returned home, confirmed the chief minister’s office (CMO).

In response to this horrific act of violence and in a commitment to serve humanity, Reliance Foundation’s Sir HN Hospital and Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, are extending free medical treatment to individuals who have lost their family member or been injured in the heinous terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

Additionally, four civic-run hospitals -- Nair, Cooper, Sion, KEM -- will provide mental health services to the victims and their kins to overcome the trauma due to this incident.

Paying condolences to the family of the victims who lost their lives in the terror attack, he also wished for a speedy and full recovery of all the injured people.

Lilavati Hospital also extends unwavering support to the Indian Army, the Government of India, and our fellow citizens in this time of crisis.

The government has arranged special flights through two companies, IndiGo and Air India, through which184 passengers have arrived in Mumbai. Another lot of over 200 passengers will be brought back home on special flights organised by the state government on Friday, April 25.
