Over 2,000 students from schools and colleges in Navi Mumbai took part in the G-20 Summit Run for Education. Approximately 18 schools and junior colleges actively participated in the rally. It was organised by the Maharashtra government’s education department.
The event aimed to advocate education for all, with a particular emphasis on empowering girls. It was held at Ramseth Thakur Public School in Kharghar. The run brought together students from classes 8-12.
During the run, the enthusiastic participants proudly carried placards advocating for child education and 100% literacy. The messages on the placards resonated with the objective of supporting India's growth as a global power. Deepak Kesarkar, the state education minister of Maharashtra, also underscored the significance of the Run for Education.
