A recent update released by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated that a total of seven wards in Mumbai will face water cut on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Officials have decided to conduct repair work at Suman Nagar where leakage has been reported for the last few hours. Since the repair work will require a few hours, water supply will be cut off in seven important locations in Mumbai.
Residents in these areas have been requested to make a not of the same, as they might have to face inconvenience on the day.
Officials have stated that the team has already started working on the old drinking water-supply aqueducts, and as per the developments, the team is going to work on the 1800 mm water supply line on Wednesday from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. Hence, the supply will have to be stopped.
