Cutting off the water supply to the buildings declared in the C1 (dangerous, uninhabitable and immediate eviction) category in Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation C Division Vashi area has been taken for the safety of the citizens.
This action was taken on the orders of Municipal Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde and under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Encroachment Department, Dr. Rahul Gethe, and was implemented under the control of Assistant Commissioner of Vashi Division Office, Sagar More.
Water supply to 16 flats in Sai Darshan Co Op Housing Society Ltd, Plot No. 26, Sector-14, Vashi has been cut off. Along with this, water supply to 64 flats in Suvarna Sagar (VS II) Type Owners Association in Block No. 3, Sector-9, Vashi has also been cut off. Similarly, water supply to 160 flats in C-2/1 to C-2/10, Sector-16, Vashi has been cut off.
