The team clashed with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their match no 2. After losing the toss, MI had been put into batting first.
Andre Russell's five-wicket haul in just two overs (5/15) helped Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) restrict Mumbai Indians' (MI) power-packed batting to 152 (all-out) in their 20 overs.
However, the team managed to keep a tab on the run rate and managed to record a win. KKR started off well but they continued to lose wickets at regular intervals.
