Mumbai- In the last two days, Air Intelligence Unit team of Mumbai Cutoms has seized gold worth Rs. 74 lakhs and 176 iPhones from an American resident along with other six people. On Monday night, police arrested Drastamat Vardanyan, an American resident with 1.5 kg gold chains. These chains cost Rs. 34 lakhs in an Indian market. Meanwhile, AIU also seized 176 iPhones from another smuggler Sajid Yakub. Apart from this, AIU team also seized gold worth Rs. 41 lakhs and six gold bars worth Rs. 20 lakhs which were hidden in the cavity of Indigo Airlines flight number 6E-062.
