Kumbharwada - A taxi driver engaged in the brawl with sanitation workers. The incident took place on Sunday at midnight 1 am in Chor Bazar. Taxi driver Saboot Sheikh was sleeping inside with the door wide open.
BMC workers Ashok Mewad and Rajesh Boraji were picking up the waste in Samsher compound, Chor Bazar. Duo asked him to close the door, but he refused to do so and started fighting with them.
The complaint has been lodged against him in the police station. Shankar Munde, Junior Engineer (Solid Waste Management), told Mumbai Live,"case has been filed, but police have not arrested the taxi driver."
