Over the last few months, many internet users in India have taken trolling as their new hobby, and with a lot of time available during the lockdown, trollers have not realised that such comments and demeaning posts only contribute to the mental stress during the pandemic.
However, one of the ways to relax and not worry about the negativity is by dancing, and Bollywood’s new pair Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Pandey are here to just to do that. The dynamic on-screen couple will be seen soon in upcoming Bollywood release, Khaali Peeli, and the first song of the film titled ‘Beyonce Sharma Jaayegi’ is bound to make you groove.
The foot-tapping number has been shot against the interesting backdrop of a funfair or circus and features the dashing Ishaan and the gorgeous Ananya in a ‘never-seen-before’ avatar. ‘Beyonce Sharma Jaayegi’ has been composed by the supremely talented duo Vishal-Shekhar and singers Nakash Aziz and Neeti Mohan have lent their amazing voice.
Amidst the worries we are living with, Ishaan and Ananya are focused on brushing off the ‘nepotism’ talks, by once again delivering their best. Trollers online often make a point about nepotism without honestly understand that it is only spreading the wrong message, as one gets work and appreciation for the work they do. With actors, their work is lauded by millions across the world, by watching it on the large screen. Hence, it is unfair to blame someone if they belong to a family from a similar professional background, as that does not reflect the kind of work projected for the audience. It is sheer hard work and effort which shines.
Moreover, this debate popular in the film industry also applies to other sectors as well, however, it is not unfair to blame the child if they wish to follow the footsteps of their parents. Liking and appreciating the work is in the hands of the audience, and it is not right for them to be the ones to blame the actor’s struggle, by tagging it nepotism.
On one hand, while we talk about mental health issues and ways to tackle it, we often face criticism for the choices we make. Judgements and validation have become a part of our lives, however, trollers fail to understand that this harms people mentally, especially when every work of theirs, small or big, is under the scanner and wrapped with negativity.
The industry has seen several star kids who haven’t made the mark despite their film-family background and reputation. Why are they ever in the focus? Why is it that the stars who have been appreciated for their roles, have to face questions regarding this debate? These questions are important to be answered and implemented, as they offer sensible and practical insights!
Fans make celebrities who they are, and so we should make a conscious effort to bring this conversation to an end, once and for all, because the more we appreciate genuine efforts, the industry will be a bright place for opportunities and projects.
The teaser of upcoming Hindi romantic film, Khaali Peeli, has received a lot of love and has garnered 7.7 million views on YouTube, where fans are eager to watch a fresh pair on screen.
