Examination dates of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) were postponed earlier last year due to coronavirus pandemic and the following lockdown. However, the state government has now announced the dates of the pre-service examination after thorough consultation, and reports state that this has brought a sigh of relief to the students.
The MPSC has announced a revised schedule of examinations, and as per the new schedule, the pre-service examination will be held on March 14, 2021.
The Maharashtra Engineering Pre-Examination will be held on March 27, 2021, and the dates for the main exams have not yet been announced. However, the main examination is expected to be held in August this year.
Lasy year, a certain section of the society demanded the MPSC examinations be postponed keeping the issue of Maratha reservation in mind, as the associations sought justice in the matter. Respecting the same, the state government had then postponed the exams, and the then Chief Minister had made it clear that no student would be disqualified as the exams were postponed.
However, with the announcement of the new dates of the pre-exams, the curiosity has increased among the students. The dates for the main examinations will be released soon.
