A year back, One Rupee Clinic brought a revolution of bringing clinics at railway stations on Central Line. These clinics provide diagnostic tests at affordable rates starting at INR 1. Now, the clinic has gone one step ahead by making the tests available at the doorstep for senior citizens.
We started this clinic with an aim to provide diagnostic tests at affordable rates. Tests such as CT Scan, Ultra Sonography take up a lot of time and senior citizens suffer a lot. So we decided to do bookings at doorsteps for such tests and we will also provide pick up facility for senior citizens,” Dr Rahul Ghule, Founder, One Rupee Clinic.
Ghule added that the services will be available for 24/7 and will help senior citizens to save up 30 to 40 per cent. He said that if one has to do MRI CT at KEM Hospital, JJ Hospital or BYL Nair Hospital then the wait is of roughly 40 days. But One Rupee Clinic will carry out the tests on the same day. The One Rupee Clinic will also provide free consultation from their doctors, informed Dr Ghule.
Six months ago, Dr Rahul Ghule came up with One Rupee Clinic initiative at various CR stations like Dadar, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vashi, Wadala Road and Mulund. Here, doctors rush to help commuters in pain for a rupee.
