In the ambitious cluster development project of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the state cabinet meeting on Sunday gave approval to raise a company called ‘MahaPreit’ of around five thousand crores through shares and debt securities to implement the cluster housing project scheme in Tekdi Bungalow, Kisannagar and Hazuri areas of Thane.


More than 6000 crores is expected to implement the Cluster Development Project Scheme in Tekdi Bangla, Hajuri and Kisan Nagar areas of Thane. Out of this, the Cabinet approved to raise INR 5000 crore through debt securities or equity. All these three projects are important for Chief Minister Shinde. Two of these projects are from the Chief Minister's constituency. Funds for these projects will not be scarce as the funds have been raised through debt securities.

The Cabinet approved the implementation of projects like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Chavindre and Pogaon in Bhiwandi, flats at Kosara in MHADA in Chandrapur, flats in Yavatmal and Vadgaon, renewable energy projects in Thane, Nagpur and Pune Municipalities, EV Park, Medicity, Chemical Center, in Mumbai Metropolis.
