The state government of Maharashtra is prepping for the upcoming gram panchayat elections. However, reports state that Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), has made proper arrangements keeping the municipal elections in mind.

Discussions regarding the same will be held at the party's state-level meeting scheduled on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Bandra-based MIG Club. Officials and functionaries from the political party have been instructed to submit their performance reports.

At this time, it is said that MNS President Raj Thackeray is likely to make a big announcement regarding the elections.

Previously, the office bearers were directed to submit a written report to the party on the preparations for the local body elections, party organization and formation, political and social status at the local level, the tendency of the people, appointment of vacancies in the party.

However, it is said that Raj Thackeray has started meeting sessions at Krishnakunj over the last few days to prepare his party for the polls, whereby he is sharing the information and expertise, thereby asking his office bearers in various districts at the local level to spread the word and do their best.

At the same time, he has also been giving some instructions to the workers and office-bearers for improved performance. Discussions have started in the political circles that MNS will once again come out in full force in the upcoming municipal elections.
