Eknath Khadse, who recently switched to NCP from BJP, has tested positive for COVID-19. Khadse, on November 19, took to Twitter and shared this information.
माझा कोरोना रिपोर्ट पॉझिटीव्ह आला आहे. गत ६ दिवसात माझ्या संपर्कात आलेल्या व्यक्तींनी स्वतःची Covid चाचणी करून घ्यावी हि विनंती. पुढील उपचारासाठी मी मुंबईला रवाना होत आहे. तुम्हा सर्वांच्या सदिच्छा माझ्या सोबत असल्याने मी लवकरच बरा होऊन पुन्हा आपल्या सेवेत असेल.@NCPspeaks

Moreover, he has requested people to get tested for coronavirus, if they had come in touch with her over the past six days, and has asked them to take care of themselves. NCP leader, who is at his native place in Jalgaon, said that he will be shifting to Mumbai for further treatment.
Earlier this week, Khadse's daughter, Rohini Khadse, had tested positive for COVID19. She also took to Twitter to share the information regarding the same and mentioned that her health was getting better.
Two days ago, on November 17, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar temporarily called off his two-day tour of north Maharashtra after former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse quarantined himself.
After BJP denied to give him a ticket from Muktinagar -- his bastion -- for Assembly polls 2019, Khadse blamed Fadnavis for “trying to destroy his life” and political career. He claimed that he has spent over three decades in strengthening BJP in Maharashtra. Following months of disenchantment with the saffron party, Khandse joined NCP last month in the presence of the party chief and other top leaders.
