After the fallout of the Shiv Sena, the number of people joining Shiv Sena (Shinde) from the Thackeray group has increased. On Tuesday too, three former corporators from Mumbai joined Shiv Sena (Shinde).


The number of people joining Shinde's Shiv Sena from the Thackeray faction is on rise. Shinde's Shiv Sena is trying to field enough candidates to contest in all the wards of Mumbai for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. In January, Rajul Patel from Versova constituency defected to Shinde’s party to Thackeray.


Fifteen days ago, Shiv Sena (Thackeray) sub-divisional chief Jitendra Janawale also joined Shiv Sena (Shinde). After that, on Sunday, former corporator Raju Pednekar, former corporator and sub-divisional chief Sanjay Pawar left Thackeray. Former corporator from Kurla Dr. Anuradha Pednekar also joined Shiv Sena (Shinde). Meanwhile, three more former corporators joined Shinde's party on Tuesday.

On this occasion, former Dapoli MLA Sanjay Kadam, former Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar MLA Bhausaheb Patil Chiktgaonkar, three former corporators from Mumbai, office bearers and hundreds of workers joined the Shiv Sena. Former corporator from Bhandup in Mumbai, Umesh Patil, former corporator from Chembur Anjali Naik, and former corporator from Goregaon Lochana Chavan, along with many office bearers, branch heads, sub-branch heads, and Shiv Sainiks, joined the Shiv Sena (Shinde).
