India gets its first Fortnite PS4 tournament later this month at the Indian Games Expo 2018 (IGX 2018). The event is now in its fourth edition and the organisers have partnered with PlayStation and Epic Games to make this possible. And while Fortnite is a 100-player battle royale game, this on-ground Fortnite PS4 tournament is limited to 25 players. The tournament will take place on November 24 and 25 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon which also serves as the venue for IGX 2018.
Every major gaming market in the world plays host to a large-scale video game expo that represents that country’s gaming industry. With no large-scale event of note in India, IGX was founded in 2015 to fill that gaping void.
IGX is India’s largest and longest running video games expo, having attracted over 120 brands and in excess of 80,000 visitors over the last three years.
