The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) workers committee - Sanyukt Kruti Samiti - will hold a meeting on Tuesday at Shree Krishna Hall in Dadar, at 6:00 pm. They will further hold discussions on topics like BEST workers salary, welfare etc. with the BEST authorities.

So far, five meetings have been held and today's discussion will be held in the presence of Sanyukt Kruti Samiti and BEST authorities. Notably, the Sanyukt Kruti Samiti was going to initiate BEST workers strike on August 6 to put forward their views but called it off till August 20 as the BEST authorities agreed to meet their demands. However, until now, they have been in talks with no proper solution to the problem. Therefore today's meeting will be crucial in deciding whether they'll call for a strike or not.
