Bharti Airtel becomes the first telecom service provider to offer uninterrupted fifth generation (5G) connectivity across the 10 stations of the newly inaugurated Mumbai Metro Line 3, also known as the Aqua Line.

This underground infrastructure is a ground breaking step to connect the financial capital from the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) to Aarey, spanning the crucial Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) section.

Mumbai CEO of Bharti Airtel, Aditya Kankaria, emphasized the company’s investment in infrastructure upgrades along the Aqua Line, stating it reflects their commitment to providing seamless, high-speed mobile connectivity for public transit users.

It will also ensure that passengers can enjoy blazing-fast mobile internet, crystal-clear voice calls, and uninterrupted data transmission throughout their journeys.

Earlier, rival telco Vodafone Idea (Vi) had stated it has deployed its 4G network across the entire route of the Mumbai Metro Line 3.
