Mumbai – The state government transferred two officers in the police department on Tuesday. Two deputy police commissioners have been transferred in the financial offence wing. Looking at the increasing financial crime incidents in the city, two posts were created in the concerned department. S. Jaikumar has been appointed in this branch to investigate the scam worth Rs 5,600 crore while Sandip Karnik has been shifted at the place of Jaikumar. Deputy police commissioner Dnyaneshwar Chavan has been transferred at the place of Karnik while S S Burse will handled the responsibilities of Chavan.
