Mumbai - 18-month-old becomes first swine flu victim

The fluctuation in Mumbai's temperature has increased the risk of swine flu. The first victim of the swine flu is an 18-month-old boy in Worli. The 18-month-old boy was admitted to the Dawood Hospital in Byculla. On 11 April, he was admitted to the Dawood Hospital in Byculla for treatment. Being under constant heat, the boy started vomiting. 

He was shifted to Noor Hospital on 21 April due to lack of facilities. After that, he was moved to the civic hospital, Kasturba Gandhi. After this, the child was kept on the ventilator.

 However, in three days i.e. on 28 April, the child died. So far, 13 patients have been found in Mumbai. In February and March, nine patients with swine flu were found. All of these patients were the resident of Dadar, Parel, Lalbagh and Byculla., there are 21 cases of swine flu patients diagnosed till now in Mumbai in the span of four months.
