Four people died in a level-II fire incident reported in Kandivali on Sunday evening around 3:30 PM. The fire broke out at a clothing factory and it took hours for the firefighters to blow out the blaze. Almost eight fire department vehicles were sent on the incident site. 

The dead bodies of the deceased were taken out after the situation was under control at around 6:00 in the evening. The fire department official informed that the cloth and wood material present in the factory can be the cause for the fire break out.

Earlier, similar fire incident was reported in Kandivali’s Damu Nagar in which many people lost their lives. Another incident was also reported, earlier yesterday, regarding a fire incident in Malad.
