MNS party has raised this issue time and again that if in any given case, Mumbai police are unable to provide support to civic officers regarding unauthorised hawkers they will become the helping hand. In regard with this, former party corporator Santosh Dhuri, Sudhir Jadhav and Virendra Tandel went to meet Anand Wagralkar (BMC F/South –ward Deputy Commissioner) in regard with unauthorised hawkers protesting in the concerned area. Anand Wagralkar ensured MNS party workers that with the help of civic officials and tight security they will initiate the demolition drive in the area.
To which former MNS corporator reacted saying that if the action has not been taken against them, then MNS will do the proceeding in their unique style.
