A businessman committed suicide by jumping into the sea from the Bandra Worli Sealink in Mumbai. The name of deceased has been identified as Bhavesh Seth and the reason for his suicide is believed to be a debt. Police found a suicide note as well. 

According to the police, Ghatkopar resident Bhavesh Seth owns a ball bearing business. On Wednesday, he came near the Bandra Worli Sea Link in an unknown car after taking a lift. He told the driver that his car broke down and asked him for a lift. From that car he came to the Bandra-Worli sea link towards Worli. Later that afternoon, he made a video call to his son and told him that he was jumping from the Bandra Worli sea link.

Some citizens saw Seth jumping into the sea. However, they failed to save him. They immediately informed the police about this. After that, Seth's search began with the help of a helicopter. The Coast Guard and other rescue teams were also searching for Seth as well. Finally, after tireless efforts, his body was found.


A suicide note written by him was found in the the car Seth took the lift. The police have sent Seth's body to the hospital for post-mortem.
