Chembur - Will not arrest you if you give us this much amount. what say? This is a statement that must have been in the minds of policemen Assistant Police Inspector Rajesh Chandurgude and Constable S Mahadik. Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) apprehended a youth in lieu of taking bribe worth Rs 1 lakh, on the commands of duo policemen mentioned earlier in RCF police station, Chembur.
There was a case in which these policecmen reached to a proposal that give them a sum of Rs 5 lakh and they shall not arrest the culprit. The deal was sealed on Rs 1 lakh. ACB got the tip that on Friday the money will be delivered, Rajesh asked the youth to receive the money on their behalf and they fled from the police station. ACB is probing in the case and is investigating the family members of the policemen.
