The state government has imposed strict restrictions on other days of the week, including weekend lockdowns under its campaign ‘Break the Chain’. These restrictions have been implemented across the state, including Mumbai.
On the other hand, the Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed more than 700 buildings in Mumbai.
The list of completely and partially sealed buildings by BMC in Jogeshwari (East), Andheri (East) area of K East ward in Mumbai are as follows:
This list was published on April 5, 2021, and the names of some of the buildings may have been omitted or new names may have been added accordingly.
As per BMC’s rule, if one or more COVID-19 patients are found in a building, then the entire floor is sealed. While if more than five patients are found infected, the building is sealed by the Municipal Corporation.
