Mumbai- People who posse’s toddy drinks now will be able to keep two alcohol bottles a month. There is a statewide ban on toddy drinks and so whoever drinks should possess alcohol permit. One has to pay Rs. 100 for one year alcohol permit while Rs. 1000 for lifetime alcohol permit. “Social activist Anna Hazare had written to Excise department in which he mentioned about the needed ban on alcohol,” said State Excise minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
