A sudden leakage was detected from a 600 mm diameter water pipeline supplying water to Fosbery Reservoir in F South Division. As a result, the leak was found near Ray Road Bombay Port Trust warehouse. Therefore, the repair work of this pipeline leak has been started on a war footing.

This has affected the water supply of some parts of Mumbai including Sewri East, Darukhana, Indiranagar and surrounding areas. Although the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has started the repair work immediately, several technical challenges have arisen during the process.
