There has been a threat to blow up Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai with bombs. On September 26, around 5 pm, an anonymous caller threatened over a phone call. After that, the Haji Ali Dargah administration immediately informed the Mumbai Police about this. The Mumbai police took a serious note of the incident and rushed to the dargah site along with a bomb squad. However, they did not find any suspicious items. 


According to a report by ANI quoting the Mumbai Police, the Haji Ali Dargah administration received a phone call around 5 pm on September 26. This time the other person said his name was Pawan. He then threatened to blow up the Haji Ali Dargah with live bombs. He also abused and made some offensive comments about this shrine.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case against an unknown person in Mumbai. It has been said by the police that the matter is being investigated further. In fact, this is not the first time that such a bomb threat has been issued in Mumbai. A few days ago, the Mumbai police received a call to blow up the Taj Hotel and Airport in Mumbai. After this threat, the police administration inspected the Taj Hotel and the airport. However, no suspicious items were found.


Before that, in the month of February as well, the Bombay Traffic Police Control Room had received a message that bombs had been planted at six locations in Mumbai. Also, in the month of December last year, a similar phone call was received by the control room of the Mumbai Police. At that time too there was a threat of a bomb blast in Mumbai.
