Shinde was killed to save the main accused?
Former journalist Ketan Tirodkar also filed a petition on Tuesday in connection with the alleged encounter with Akshay Shinde, the main accused in the case. In it, he has claimed that the trustees of the concerned school in Badlapur are involved in human trafficking and child pornography. Tirodkar has also claimed in the petition that on the second day after the sexual assault case was registered, a complaint about another girl's disappearance from the school was filed in the same police station.
Efforts are on to save some major accused in this case. Therefore, the petition has demanded that the investigation of the case should be transferred to the Central Crime Investigation Department. Moreover, Shinde had expressed his desire to meet former IPS officer Meera Borwankar to the police while in jail. The petitioner has also alleged that he was killed in the encounter fearing that the case would turn out differently if the accused appeared before the special committee constituted by the court.
