Shocked? But it's true - your bike can catch fire any day...have a look at this incident that occurred in Nehru Nagar, Kurla the other day. Passersby noticed smoke coming from the bike...everyone started trying in their own way to avert a mishap - some threw buckets of water at the bike, some tried to douse it with sand.
But their efforts were in vain, the bike caught fire. There was a bit of panic all around, but eventually, the fire was brought under control. It was later discovered that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the bike's battery.
