A man celebrating his 25th birthday is believed to have died tragically after being thrown from a fourth-floor balcony by his friends. The incident took place on June 27, in which Karthik Vyal died. The accused include his friends, Nilesh Kshirsagar, Sagar Kale and Dheeraj Yadav.
According to Hindustan Times quoting a police report, the four were drunk when they ran out of liquor late at night. An argument started between them as they did not get alcohol. Feeling insulted by this, Karthik smashed a liquor bottle on Nilesh's head and asked the three friends to leave the house. This escalated the tension and Karthik went to sleep straight after the fight. Nilesh was furious when Karthik went to sleep during the fight. With the help of Sagar and Dheeraj, Nilesh entered Karthik's room and dragged him to the balcony. Karthik fell from the balcony as these three pushed him.
As soon as Karthik's family realised this situation, they informed the police. But till then Nilesh, Sagar and Dheeraj concocted a different story to protect themselves. Karthik hit Nilesh on the head with a bottle, injuring him, so two other friends took Nilesh to the hospital. He also claimed that he knew nothing about how Karthik fell down. But Karthik's family requested the police to investigate further and the true sequence of events at the birthday party came to light. According to current information, the Ulhasnagar police have now registered a case of murder against Nilesh, Sagar and Dheeraj.
