11 die in a road accident on Pune-Solapur highway

On 11 March morning, a truck and a private bus collided which claimed 11 lives. This accident took place at Pune-Solapur highway where 11 people died on the spot and three got injured who have been admitted to Pune’s Sassoon hospital. Out of 11 dead, 10 were from Mumbai city while six out of 10 were Mulund residents.

Mulund residents Jaywant Chavhan, Yogita Chavhan, and their daughter Revati Chavhan died on the spot. Along with them were Vasai residents Jagdish Pandit and Shailja Pandit lost their lives. Another passenger who lost their life was Pradeep Avchat and Sulbha Avchat, whose details are still not known. On Friday night around 9 pm, they all left to seek blessings of Akkalkot Swami however they met with a horrible accident on Pune-Solapur highway and couldn’t reach their destination.
