Senior Police Inspector Rohit Khot stated that Chakravarty’s wife revealed during an inquiry that he was under significant work pressure. Chakravarty, who worked as a manager at the bank’s Hutatma Chowk office in Fort, had taken his family on a weekend trip to Lonavala. However, on Monday, instead of going to the office as he had informed his family, he went to Atal Setu and jumped off the bridge.
