A person has sexually abused a 12 year old boy in Mankhurd area of Govandi. The person concerned committed this act under the influence of alcohol. This incident happened on Monday evening. In this case, the police have registered a case based on the complaint of the relatives of the minor victim, as per the report by The Free Press Journal.
On Tuesday, the police said they have arrested a 22-year-old man in the case. The name of the accused is Sharad Sable and he is a local resident. The incident took place between 6 and 7 pm on Monday. “Our son came home in a broken state. He said at home that a man named Ako molested him. According to the boy, he met Ako outside our lane. Ako offered to help him buy vegetables this time. He took the boy to the Sonapur area in Mankhurd, where he tortured him.” The family member also informed the police that the victim's genitals were bleeding.
When the family members started searching for the accused, they found him in a drunken state after the victim's son informed him about the incident at home. When the relatives of the victim questioned the accused about this, he replied shamelessly. He said, “I was drunk, that's why I took the boy with me!” After which the locals started beating him. However, the relatives of the victim intervened and lodged a complaint with the police and handed him over to the police.
A case was registered six hours after the incident
Speaking to the Free Press Journal, the relatives alleged that the police registered the FIR six hours after the incident. On Tuesday, local people and relatives of the victim were waiting outside the police station. Relatives have alleged that the victim's child was kept in the police station till midnight on Monday without medical examination. Sable was medically examined after his arrest. In this report, it is revealed that he committed sexual abuse and it is proved that he consumed alcohol.

According to sources, Sable was smuggling narcotics. His close relative, a woman named 'Lajjo', is wanted for selling narcotics.
