A man of Nepali origin who was planning to travel to Hungary on a fake visa was nabbed by the authorities at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The broker had given him an Indian passport and a fake visa for six lakh rupees. The accused passenger has been detained by the police and the police have got the information of the suspected broker. 


Assistant Immigration Officer Sushant Rajak (28) was working at the Mumbai airport on June 10. At that time a passenger came to their counter. Indian passport, Turkey visa, boarding pass and flight ticket were found with him. He was to take another flight from Turkey to Hungary. Rajak did not get satisfactory answers when asked what work he was going to do in Hungary. An official Hungarian passport was not found on him at that time. Also, when his documents were checked, it was found that he is a Nepali citizen. When his mobile was checked, Nepali passport, driver's license, and identity card of Nepali citizen were found in it. When interrogated, he admitted that he was a citizen of Nepal.

Sumansukh Bahadur Tamang, the accused passenger, came into contact with a broker in West Bengal a year ago. He promised to get packing work done in warehouses in Hungary. He demanded money for that. Initially, the accused demanded INR 10 lakh. But as he did not have that amount, the accused took three lakh rupees in advance from him. Based on that, he got the Indian passport for the accused. He also said that after that he got a job in Hungary. On that hope, he paid another three lakh rupees to the broker. The broker then gave him various documents. It also included a fake visa for Hungary. But before leaving for Hungary, he was caught at the Mumbai airport.


Sumansukh Bahadur Tamang came in contact with the accused broker through a friend. A friend had told that he had sent many people for jobs abroad in the past. So Tamang contacted this broker. As his financial situation was also desperate, he decided to go abroad by paying money to a broker for a job. In this case, the Sahar police have detained the accused passenger and the search for the broker is on.
