In a sensation incident that took place in Andheri, a man who trades in silver ornaments a brutally stabbed in the middle of the road and robbed of his valuables. The trader is being admitted to a hospital for medical treatment.

As per information, Nilesh Rathod (36) was visiting his clients in Andheri on Wednesday. At around 5 pm, he was approached by two assailants near Prabhu Pathare hall on JP Road and mounted an assault on him with choppers. Nilesh sustained critical injuries on his legs and he fell to the ground after which the assailants fled the spot by snatching his bag containing three kg silver ornaments and cash of Rs 70,000. While fleeing the spot, the assailants forcefully stopped an autorickshaw by brandishing the pistol.

Police suspected that the assailants might have got a tip off that Nilesh was carrying the booty. Further investigation into the case is underway.
