A few days back, a well-known Bollywood Veteran from the 70s, had accused and filed a case against Amar Khanna, a Mumbai based businessman, accusing him of stalking and criminal intimidation. The case was registered under sections 304 D and 509 of the Indian Penal Code.
No further updates were received for days after, however, it has now come to notice that the actress has also accused Khanna of rape and sexual assault. Mumbai Live has received this as a confirmation from a police official, who preferred to be anonymous. The case is now being investigated by Mumbai crime branch unit 9. Additional charges under IPC 383 (extortion), 420 (Cheating), 376 (Rape) and 354D have been filed against the businessman, and sources confirm that he will be produced to the court tomorrow.
No official statement about the same has been released yet.
The actress filed a complaint stating that after a dispute with Khanna, she distanced herself from him completely, after which Khanna, who was a close family friend, called her frequently, followed her and misbehaved with her.
The earlier complaint was filed at Juhu Police Station.
