Borivali - On Dussehra, almost all jewelry shops were full with the customers. A thief took advantage of this situation in a different way. On the evening of 11th October, around 7pm, one woman entered Pooja Jewellers of Borivali and asked to show the ornaments. After seeing some ornaments, she asked to pack jewelry worth Rs 20 thousand. As the bill was about to be prepared, she informed the person to wait as her husband was awaited. While all this was going on, she put an earrings in her mouth. She then sat on the bench on the shop pretending she is waiting for her husband and put the earrings in her purse. As the shop got more crowded, sensing the opportunity, she fled away with the earring. All this was recorded on the CCTV and owner got to know about the theft when he saw the footage. With this different style, she managed to steal earrings worth two thousand rupees.
