The Secondary Service Non-Gazetted Group-B Joint Pre-Examination conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) will now be held on September 4, 2021. Since the MPSC has issued a statement in this regard, it has brought a great sense of relief to millions of students in the state.
The Maharashtra Secondary Service “Non-Gazetted Group B” joint pre-examination was postponed in the backdrop of coronavirus. Earlier scheduled on the 11th April 2021, the state government had postponed the exam. In a circular issued by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission, the exam will now be held on 4th September.
With permission from the Disaster Management Department, the path to conducting the examinations has been cleared.
According to some reports, four lakh candidates have been waiting to appear for the exams for two years. The MPSC had written to the Disaster and Rehabilitation Department for a joint examination for a “No Objection Certificate”. The state government had sent a letter to the Maharashtra Public Service Commission on August 3, 2021, informing them of their views. Based on this feedback, the examination will be held on September 4.
